Google maps can be hacked in certain places to zoom in further than expected. To do this:

1. Go into satellite mode
   
2. Click "link to this page"
   
3. Edit the "&z=" in the querystring of your address bar to 23 and go to that new address.

There are thousands of coloured lights. Some of these lights by scale (e.g., bright green on 4th screenshot) are 10m. This phenomena is focused around Antipodes.
