Well that's the first time I've ever seen a highway enema!

At first I thought it was another Hollywood-generated, over-the-top movie sequence.

Then I thought it could be a burst water main, but that would be unlikely to have huge manhole-style lids.

My guess is a stormwater drain that is just overloaded or blocked lower down.

Can you believe some of thsoe drivers who just continue ramming their vehicles through all that water, when visibility must have been pretty close to zero?

Looks like Old Faithful finally decided to get out of the house and visit the city for a change!

Amazing that even when it was at max blast some cars didn't even seem fazed by it and didn't even slow down.

What's probably happening is there is an underground river or something that is flooding because of heavy rains. That happens (or happened at least to a degree, I hear) in Worcester, MA with the Blackstone Canal. Water comes up from the manhole covers and floods the roads very badly.
