I personally think all our bodies function in a certain way for a reason, and tampering with that too much could be bad --> If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I just wouldn't feel comfortable jacking myself up on artificial hormones when there aren't any proven long-term effects. I know menopause hormones lead to a definite increase in breast cancer rates, so I'd be hesitant to take these pills.

If they turn out to be 100% safe, though... woo hoo! Sign me up!

Agreed. As a woman, I have plenty of reason to not enjoy that 'time'. But as a woman, I also know the cycle has a purpose. I don't want artificial hormones to mess with it, I do intend to have a kid someday, and my periods are kinda related to that! Taking a pill that will stop my 'cleansing' would indeed cause other problems!

Learn to deal, ladies! It's not that bad!
