Hehheh.

I don't know about the salary level, but it's certainly true in the Netherlands that your garbage can be inspected (to determine from the contents which address it is from) and you can be fined, if you do not recycle what you should have, or leave it on the curbside on the wrong day, in the wrong container for the wrong type of garbage, etc.
