 London's financial district goes wireless
London's financial district goes wireless
The heart of London's financial district has gone wireless. The Square Mile, Europe's premier financial center, has been turned into an oversized WiFi "hot zone," turning broadband-speed Internet into radio signals that can accessed through browsers on laptops, handheld game consoles, WiFi-enabled mobile phones and personal digital assistants. picked by AutumnLotus 3 years ago

Very interesting and extremely useful and welcome to many people who work there, I'm sure.

If we are to believe the claims/concerns seen in an earlier post today , then it would mean that London has progressed from medieval smells of bodily functions (human and animal), through Industrial Revolution - generated smog to "digital smog".

I know which one I would prefer!

Progress.
