Why do these idiots have to shoot everything ? It's a monitor lizard, how freaking hard can it be to just capture the sucker. I wonder how well it'd go over if we shot everyone that happened to get themselves lost rather then try and help them ? If I lived there I'd catch the SOB myself. Tranq gun it if you absolutely have to but shooting it, so it is now suffering through no fault of it's own for who knows how long so some cop can feel like his wang is 1/2" inch longer after tangling with such a terrible beast makes me both POed & sick. For a Libertarian I have some real issues with taking the lives of innocents whether they be people or animals.
