One man claimed nine brain surgeries for himself, along with his wife and two sons, receiving reimbursements from his health insurance company totaling $142,268.

Glad they got caught. Fraud is one of the many reasons insurance premiums are so high. A company I used to work for published their fraud successes in an internal newsletter. Amazing what doctors and dentists try to pull off.

Very true! Anyone who thinks they are ripping off the insurance company is sadly mistaken... those costs ALL get passed on to other policy holders.
