Chocolate Covered Ants

Ingredients –
100 Live Black Ants (avoid red ants, their too spicy)
1 vanilla bean split and seeds scraped out
2 Egg Yolks
1 Tbsp. Sugar
1 tsp. Butter, melted

I never tried eating insects, but the recipe has chocolate in it, so it must be good

the idea that you'll probably have >5000 legs in your mouth with one bite isn't very attractive though

My 9 yr old has been asking to taste chocolate covered ants. Now that I have a recipe, I just might pull out the double boiler and let her make them...

because there's no way in Hell I'm going to pay for something like that, or even think of making it myself.
