I mean isn't part of being a Christian a belief in the divinity of Christ? Muslims respect Jesus of Nazareth, but only as a prophet, as a strictly non-divine human 1 rung beneath Mohamed.

Of course we can argue about the (largely man-made, or at least interpreted) differences between religions, but I believe this is FANTASTIC! I would just love to meet this woman and talk to her.

There are probably many people on Earth (including me) who feel vaguely like she does, but it takes a lot of courage, in her position, to stand up for your beliefs, if you know you risk of rejection from others who share some (but not all) of your beliefs.

For me, there are probably two most important quotes from this article.
Redding's opinion:
Aside from the established sets of prayers she recites in Arabic fives times each day, Redding says her prayers are neither uniquely Islamic nor Christian. They're simply her private talks with God or Allah — she uses both names interchangeably. "It's the same person, praying to the same God."
.. and an opinion of Redding:
"And we desperately need those bridge persons."

Why, what do you know? I can be an apple AND orange at the same time, as long as it gives me comfort! I don't have to THINK, I just have to FEEL. It's like coming home to the big orange inside of me, but embracing the apple within. After all, we're all FRUIT, right? That makes me smarter and more enlightened and oh-so less threatening to people who hate absolute truth!
