From the story:
"He describes a metallic egg-shaped object around 3.6m-4.5m in length and around 1.8m wide."

Three-point-six to four-point-five? So he was just estimating its length by sight -thus the uncertainty of close to an entire meter- yet he could pin down the lower limit to within 1/10 of a meter? Why not just "somewhere between roughly three and a half to roughly four and a half meters"?

And although it claims the Army confiscated "all" of the unidentified material from the locals, how can that possibly mean the Army was even remotely capable of locating each little bit of such material collected by an uncontrolled population of amateur souvenir hunters? I'd be surprised if the Army could be so thoroughly exhaustive under such circumstances. The Army would need to have illegally ransacked every house for a radius of miles, and even then there's the risk of out-of-towners of undetermined origins. There'd be someone alive today in possession of a sample, and if it were revealed in full light of the public media, there's nothing anyone could do about it.

This is just more BS.

Lived there for 14 years...ain't none of it true. I know, I travelled back in time to see if it was true and set the whole chain of events off when I accidentally left my life-sized alien mannequin behind with some shredded bits of a weather balloon.
