WELL done. But surely not real. First of all, I don't think it's possible to hypnotize a person using flashes of light from an arcade game, especially not in a distracting environment such as a pub. Furthermore, it would require some extraordinary deep trance to prevent him from waking up while being shoved around in the streets. Finally, nobody with a spark of sensibility would hand a firearm to a hypnotized person, not even loaded with blanks, neither a paintball gun, and have him shoot at someone. Just imagine he put the barrel straight into one of the actors' faces and pulled the trigger.
One possible explanation other than the whole thing being fictional would be that the two friends were the victims of the prank, and the hypnotized guy was involved. Have you noticed that there are two seats and two pairs of headphones reserved for them? But we only get very few and short glimpses of them, otherwise this would hae been kinda plausible.
For those that don't know him, the "hypnotist" here is Derren Brown from Bristol in the UK. He has done many shows including a series called "Trick of the Mind" but his "specials" are particularly good. His autobiography is pretty impressive and he explains why hypnosis is not what you think it might be! Highly recommended.
