"There are Pretenders among us..." What is a Pretender? Pretender fans can tell you. And they will also tell you they want more! More of The Pretender. A brilliant TV series that had an abrupt ending leaving fans wanting more. More of Jarod, Miss Parker, Sydney and the rest. James Denton doesn't only have 'desperate housewives' as fans...he was beloved before that as Mr. Lyle!

Pretender fans long to see Jarod and Miss Parker back on TV...just one more time...or give us a 5th season! Anything to see more of Michael T. Weiss, Andrea Parker, James Denton, Jon Gries, Patrick Bauchau and the rest of the cast!

'The Pretender' is a GREAT TV show and deserves some kind of proper ending.
And for all those with prejudice about 'The Pretender', i strongly suggest that you first watch the show, then make judgments.
It's really a good show and much better than any of todays unwise ones. It has a heart and a soul, it has a drama and a comedy, it has action and emotion and all of that merged perfectly.
Not to mention that the sales of 'The Pretender' dvds (all 4 seasons + movies) kicked asses of some major names such as 'Grey's Anatomy', 'Borat' etc. even released after 5 years since the cancellation.

as for 'The Pretender' if you like the show, you should vote it up. if not ... well... tastes are different .. and thank God for it :o)
for example, many people actually like reality shows.... i can't stand them because those shows taints peoples already weak minds.

The Pretender is one of the best TV-shows ever made. So much mystery, action, riddles, discoveries, intrigue,... It's a shame it ended the way it did and it deserves a decent ending.

This is my original response before I saw that Jazzy explained it to you: It is sad that you would think that but I understand and would like to assure you that you are wrong. Those people who are registering are people I have emailed the link to, they have never heard of this site, so they would not have been members before. If there is a way for you to track their IPs you would see it is totally different from mine, because they are all in different countries...and I understand your skepticism...but if I didn't have confidence in the show I would not have posted it here. I am sure there is no way to sufficiently appease such cynicism because there are lots of ways to "shield" multiple identities on the web. But the best I can do is tell you that I really wouldn't want to "duplicate" my identity online just to vote up the article because I am genuinely interested in it being "upped" by as many different people as possible. I hope you visit the urls posted in the video...maybe I can do more to convince you there!

No offense taken muppet. To each his own. I would just like to mention though, that you might want to actually watch an episode or two before passing judgement based on the video. If you live in the US, you may request the DVDs at your local library if they are not already in the catalog. I know that a Springfield, OH library recently acquired the DVDs and is also getting the movies. Some other libraries in the US also have the DVDs in their catalog.
If you live outside the US and cannot access the DVDs in your local library, try the tv-links at co dot uk which has some of the episodes available online.

Hi I'm new here and I'm also one of the group who are actively campaigning for those guys who sit in lofty seats and destroy brilliant series on a whim to bring The Pretender back either as a miniseries or a movie, either will do as long as we get closure to this fantastic series.
