Sweat-suction surgery to cool your armpits
Sweat-suction surgery to cool your armpits
There is a possibility for all people who want to get rid of the problem to have a suction surgery. During an operation a sweat gland is removed through a tiny needle that is inserted into the armpit. picked by maxriter 2 years ago

Yep, yep, and that's why I don't use deoderant.

I sweat when I'm working out--but consider that to be pretty normal. Is this safe? Or does this make other sweat glands more active? Interesting idea, but without more information on long term consequences, it doesn't sound like a good idea.

Not just that, imagine how much easier it would be to over heat. It gets pretty damn hot out here in Arizona, and I would consider it risky to lose one of our few protections against the heat.

I used to sweat buckets all the time before the doctors figured out it was a hormonal issue and gave me medicine to fix it. It was so embarrasing, especially since I was in junior high and high school at its worst. Yeah, people need to sweat, but for people who have extreme sweating like I did, I'm glad there is a way to correct it.

I guess that's the point--yes, there are some who sweat profusely and could benefit, but the article implies that this would be an option for anyone--sort of like lipo? I don't think removing sweat glands from those who sweat in a normal fashion is a good idea.
