You must be pretty ugly to get slapped with a felony for exposing yourself

13+ years for flashing is incredibly excessive. No one was injured. Heck you can kill someone these days and get less than that.

The punishment just doesn't fit the crime.

Hell, if I was a flasher in California, I'd just kill the woman after flashing her, less chance on getting caught and little chance for a longer jail time.

My mum did this. Without the smacking. She used to be a teacher. This is relevant.

The flasher was a bit of a local nuisance near where she worked. On the whole, the women he flashed would scream and run away, or similar.

When he picked on my mum, she turned on her full teacherly glare, reached into her bag of teacher catchphrases and pulled out:
