Luckily they included tips on how to eat the candy bar. Or I wouldn't know how to eat something really gross.

Aww come on..what's not to love? Bacon..good. Chocolate..gooood. Of course it could possibly taste like feet..hmmm. I think I'd need to try it to really determine this combinations potential.

This confirms my theory that there are 2 ways to improve ANY food.

1: Deep fry it.
2: Wrap it in bacon.

Candy bar = good
Deep fried candy bar = better
Deep fried candy bar wrapped in bacon = amazing

Finally someone thought to at least get the bacon and the candy bar together. If they start selling these at the fair deep fried on a stick, I may become a carnie.

I've got a combo for you;

Deep fried poo smothered in chocolate sauce and when you get to the middle....there is a corn filled center....

That sounds about as appetizing as this chocolate covered bacon

Though I would never try this (I only eat turkey bacon), I can see how it's edible. I mean, what about chocolate covered pretzels, or peanuts? I like really hot popcorn with Milk Duds. See, you are just getting the salties and sweets taking care of in one package.

The hard part would be getting someone to pay 7 bucks for a piece of bacon. I don't care what it's dipped in.

Vosges chocolates are fabulous. The owner is well known for combining unexpected flavors, including spices and peppers with chocolate. While it sounds unusual, I'll happily try it, just based on experiencing her other products.

I was at a friend's unsanctioned HS party back in the day, and a couple of us rifled through his parent's dining room bureau, in search of spendy goodies from which to partake. I found an unopened box of chocolates from Japan and happily opened them, unaware back then of Japanese... er... pallette wonkiness. After two chews, the chocolate covered, pickled SQUID was out of my mouth and on the floor.

It's not so far from bacon and maple syrup.

Sweet and savoury tastes do compliment each other very well. We're just conditioned to keep them separate.

If ever you have a truly spectacular chilli, one that has you mopping out the bowl with bread and then going back for more - guaranteed, that has got cocoa powder in it.

Except for apple sauce and pork, pineapple and ham, the aforementioned maple syrup & bacon, ketchup and absolutely anything you put ketchup on, A1 sauce is the same, honey glazed ham, that sweet onion relish you get in Subway, rose marie sauce and prawns, cheese and wine, sweet pickle, PBJ sandwiches, picallili...

God that list could go on, but it's too close to lunchtime and it is making me hungry.

The point is, it's all about perception.

One I will admit was a big leap of faith was chocolate cake and wasabi. But that is a wonderful combination. They go together so well.
