I was not born yet but I have enjoyed them retroactively. In one of my favorite episodes, Davey (for no reason) acts like a b*****d to everyone before finally learning his lesson.

No wait, that's Davey and Goliath. Another show. David was never a b*****d. Well, maybe to Goliath, but I guess he deserved it. Also, when he became king of Israel, he offed Bathsheba's husband. That was kind of mean, I guess.
