A) Nudity isn't sinful. Get over it.

B) The character is a role model, so the person portraying them must be as well? What does that say about the Passion of the Christ cast?!?

I think she is darn lucky that Disney didn't fire her. I believe she did make a huge lapse in judgment thinking that anything in her life is private. And I am sorry to say, she is in fact a role model and kids will follow her because they believe what they see. They are children not small adults.

Just think for a sec anyway. Imagine: on a party your friend takes a photo off you, you happen to be nude. Suppose you are swimming in a pool, and it is an underwater photo, but you are still recognizable. your friend is such an ass, that publishes the photo on the net. does your boss have the right to comment on it? I am not talking about termination, only commenting. I think he does not have the right to comment on it. Especially if you are a rollmodel, so you are supposed to encourage your teen audience's self expression. Instead of reprimanding the actress, Disney should have either shut up or popularize her action as valuable commitment for her personal values and for the freedom of speech.

It is a picture of an adult taken in their home. It is probably something her boyfriend took of her. Just because some jackass posts it on the internet makes it wrong? Sorry but I'm naked at home at least twice a day, I don't think this is immoral.

Exacly my point. I don't care, nobody else should care, the boss shouldn't care. Its natural, its private, and its not important.

In my opinion the issue at hand is not the photo, but the reaction it has triggered.

Why do parents think they need to explain anything to their kids about the photo? Why were they showing, or even talking about, pictures of a naked person to their children in the first place?

the reaction is crazy and stupid.

Surely her fans knew that she wasn't some mannequin? They knew that she was a real live woman with all the various parts that go along with that right?

People will have pictures taken, often times those pics will be nude. That is a simple common fact of life.

People will tend to post them, it doesn't change who that person or represents (unless she represents a group of mannequins)

Last week before these photo's appeared on the internet she was on various shows being interviewed. One of these shows was "Fox and friends"
At about 5 minutes into the interview she is asked about her "Role Model" status, her answer is ironic considering what then happened just a couple of days later. The little girls that surround her are her fans.

My opinion is, if I was Disney, I would have fired her and expressed my disappointment.
If I was her dad I would be heartbroken.

Disney, as many company's do, has contracts that state that you will follow explicit guidelines, 24-7.
If a person doesn't like these rules or guidelines they are free to not sign the contracts.

Coke employees are not allowed to drink products other than Coke when wearing a Coke uniform

Tiger Woods may be allowed to have naked pictures taken of him, but I would bet If he was naked with a pair of Converse that Nike would cancel the contract and sue him

I would bet that Disney has a pretty strict contract regarding conduct.

So if she was naked and holding a sponge bob pillow (which she was not...ahem...) then she would be in big trouble?
