Personally, I think Belichick should have been suspended for 6 games....

But I do like the idea that if they make the playoffs, they lose their first round pick.

I think it was wise leaving him in the game. That way it'll either be proved or disproved by the next games how much of an advantage he was at by spying. If the team starts to tank - viola. And then he'll likely lose his job anyway. If the team remains strong then his claim that it wasn't a game time advantage stands.
