The later books in the series wasn't quite as good as the first few, but still it will be a shame that the series may not be finished.

I have read them all, including the prequel (and the glossy guide) and while I agree that the last few lacked something that hooked the reader in the first, he will be sorely missed. He seemed to be a victim of his own ever expanding story line, too many threads in the pattern to keep up. But the wheel weaves as the wheel wills, you will be missed RJ.
