They should change their plates to something more subtle, like BITEME1, EATME2, and USUCK3. Oh, wait, they MIGHT offend someone.

Strange way you Americans can choose your car registration plates! Do the authorities make money from it as in the UK?

One of my fave personal plates came charging up behind me in the fast lane 20 years ago. On a fast, large truck, I read 3VOM. Except it was reflected directly in my rear view!
