I'm pretty sure the Yellow #5 myth is what killed Surge... Just sayin'

Pepsi Blue isn't discontinued - you can still readily find it in South-East Asia. Good list, though.

Surge was hands down, better than Mountain Dew. And if I'm not mistaken, Yellow 5 is in Dew too.

I don't even really enjoy soda, but I did love Surge as a kid. :(

Dammit, I Liked Pepsi Blue! I mean, maybe I just have an excessive sweet tooth, but I remember buying that stuff by the litre, I thought it was so great.

Pepsi sure had a lot of different flavors. I never heard of surge. I remember JOLT! Twice the sugar and all the caffeine you need!

My favorite discontinued soda is OK. I used to drink a ton of it and call the hotline.

cyco, you might want to try "bubble tea" - it's almost like an Orbitz milkshake. Some places put little tapioca things in, others use little jello bits. I discovered them just a few weeks ago, but they may be old news to others.

I love Crystal Pepsi--it was THE best mixer. Add 2 shots of cinnamon schnapps, you have pink Pepsi.

I remember being on a bus coming back from DC as a chaperone for the 6th grades annual trip.

I was half asleep and I heard a girl whisper that if you drank Surge before you had sex, you wouldn't get pregnant.

I stood up and said..."WHAT did you just say!?!?!?!" as my daughter tried to become invisible in her seat.

The next few hrs were devoted to sex ed on the trip home...

Yeah... I'm saddened that Okay soda is not in that list. Not that the soda was any good, but their marketing was pretty cool.
