Texas Standing Up To Bush and the International Court
Texas Standing Up To Bush and the International Court
Texas wants to continue with its scheduled execution of Jose Medellin a Mexican who was in the country illegally brutally raped and murder two young children. The "international court" <oooh!> stated his "rights" were abused. Bush is pandering and demanding that Texas stop their execution. picked by 2manyusernames 1 year ago

His rights are being abused. He has an inalienable right to:

A. 1 pound of sodium cyanide pellets and 6 pints of sulphuric acid
B. A cocktail of sodium thiopental, tubocurarine & potassium chloride
C. 8 amps of electricity
D. 5 pieces of lead moving at 2000 feet per second

and

E. 20 feet of rope.

Give this man his rights I say. Do it now.

Then on Feb. 28, 2005, President Bush announced that the United States would "discharge its international obligations" by giving the Mexican nationals "review and reconsideration" in the state courts.

Now, wouldn't review and reconsideration mean they would review and then reconsider if the case was valid or invalid? In the case of Medellin I would assume (knowing what that means) that they would review and then consider that the death penalty is still a legit option and take action on that option. Like the comedian Ron White said about Texas "We have the death penalty and we USE IT!"
