Remember your first love? That person you fell madly for when you were just a child? Sadly all too often we lose touch over the years.
Here is a story of Kek, who fell in love at 8 years old, only to see her move away. He, too, lost contact with her, but was able to find her years later.

I agree. It was sort of anti-climactic. I thought I was the only one who felt that way.

I assume the ending "sucked" because it was a true story. It didn't have the hollywood ending of them meeting, rekindling their love, see that they are "soul mates", get married and fly off to Acapluco for a glorious honeymoon

Sad, but true.

That is true. At the same time, the story built up to so much more. They didn't have to get married; they could have had a telephone conversation expressing their sorrow and regret. It didn't have to end happily but some closure would have been nice, as opposed to "calling, emailing, calling.. and then, what a coincidence, she had her baby two days after I finished writing this story" and then it's over? It was a very engaging story up until the end. I was very disappointed with the ending.

Very very good points.
