LOL! You would be so surprised at how people will just buy anything becasue some nut says it works. I have a friend who is constantly getting herself in trouble with stuff like this...poor thing.

The solution is quite simple: Portion control, eat three meals a day, sensible snacks, focus on fruits and veggies, and exercise. It is simple, carrying it out is the hard part.

I'm not surprised. When I worked over night stocking shelves at Target, I always had to stock a whole bunch of that alli weightloss crap (the stuff that makes your bum explode and recommends taking an extra pair of pants to work, just in case) every night.

I put "common" in quotations, because it should be common sense, but it doesn't seem to be very common.

Maybe people replace exercise with diets because they're too lazy to go walk around the block and staying occupied with what not to eat is easier (or more enjoyable) for them.

I think it's even easier than that: Eat when your stomach is hungry, stop when it's satisfied (not full).

And between eating, stay active. Walk to the mailbox instead of driving. Take the damn stairs to the second floor, not the elevator. Get in a tickle fight. Fidget. Have intense, vigorous sex. Just do something.

Moderation and exercise.

Low fat, high fiber and as much organic as I can. Good stuff in means a more efficient machine.

I have one lumbar disc missing (ground up after yrs of EMS lifting and back problems and had two herniated discs a few yrs ago as well...My doc was suprised I could walk with such problems...he stated my healthy diet means my blood has less impurities and can heal more efficiently)

I am still missing a disc, and my herniations have subsided, and I can do anything I want...Horseback ride, hunt, etc.....

How many of us can raise our hands and say we eat 5 servings of fruit and veggies, our dairy and grains?

We eat alot of organic and veggie burgers. Wild game and lots of whole wheat.

People just want easy and fast solutions rather than taking the time and putting forth the effort to do it the right way.

For anyone who is fighting a weight battle I have referred numerous friends to, initially, the Master Cleanse, and then the ABS lifestyle... for those who stick with it, the results are nothing short of amazing. It takes a lot of discipline and effort, but once you get out of the weeds your body sort of relaxes into it.

I have also heard from lots of healthy and fit women that following Suzanne Summer's regimen is very effective, and from the looks of these ladies, I believe it. Bottom line is that if you eat crap, you're going to look like crap. And crap food is so deeply ingrained in our society that it is hard to break away from the psychological appeal of the food.

The Master Cleanse will allow you to have prespective and identify when your body is truly hungry. Then after that all you have to do is maintain yourself and you'll look good and feel great..

Sadly, many will return to the snake-oil abdominizors and potions.
