True story. Once upon a long ago in a call centre for a UK cable company I had a call from a man with the same name.

He wanted to make a card payment.

My shoulders shaking and tears of silent mirth pouring down my face I asked him to spell out his name as it appeared on the card.

He seemed a little hesitant and then explained that the bank had made a mistake and that they had spelt his name wrong.

Of course they had - because no-one could have that name.

I told him that was OK, as long as I had the spelling it would be on the card.

I assumed that the K would be missing, or the T would have been changed to a P or something, but no - some helpful bank employee had decided to add a C. Now I know that if I type it in full, Plime's overzealous profanity filter will censor it anyway, and it may spoil the surprise for anyone who hasn't clicked the link, but I'm sure you can all work it out.

At least they hadn't added a hyphen.

Dude! You can afford to change your name! Maybe the spelling could be altered, like Dikshihite?
