"She doesn't think this is the type of family that should have the dog. She is adamant that she is not going to be bullied around by the Ellen DeGenereses of the world ... They are using their power, position and wealth to try to get what it is they want."

I don't think it's Ellen you have to worry about. it's her fans. She made an honest mistake. She gave the dog a happy home. The kids loved him. He loved them. Homewreckers!

I adopted a cat once from a shelter and had to sign an agreement that if I ever got rid of it for any reason, I had to give it back to them, not to someone else. I also had to agree that they could come check on the cat whenever they felt like it. My wife turned out to be massively allergic to cats, so we had to take it back after a week. (No money back for us, either.)

No wonder pet shelters are over crowded. Next we'll see people flying to Vietnam or Africa to adopt pets too. If a person cant even adopt a dog without drama I can only imagine what its like trying to adopt a baby.

What does this story teach you boys and girls? Lie. Lie. and Lie again.

She tells them the truth that she gave the puppy away to another family with children and they demand it back. If she had lied to them, all would be fine.

From what I understand Ellen isn't using her money or power to get what she wants, she simply gave the puppy to a family that could give the dog what it needed as well as one that didn't have cats. A family with children.

Yeah, the agency is being really a*****e jerks. I would use the show to complain even mentioning the phone numbers of the agency in case any of her millions of fans wanted to express their disdain.

Ellen has a huge audience and following. All she has to do is tell her story, as is, and the agency will literally have to shut down due to nobody wanting to do business with them. I think Ellen did the right thing and the business is trying to use her name to forward their cause, even though it is a negative light.
