I have heard of these type of cases many times, and I honestly think these people think they are doing the animals good. They don't mean to hurt them. They just take in stray upon stray. It must be a sickness. I hope the surviving animals will be okay.

I agree. It seems that most of the time these people think they are really taking care of the animals. It just so happens they're a bit nuts, hence we get situations like this.

To be honest, I have an ex-girlfriend who I think is well on the way to running around in a Christmas sweater and sweatpants on a ranch with 500 animals she's 'saved' from the street. So if you live in the Bay Area keep an eye out! But I digress, this is a sad story.
