Very simple and very clever. Inspiring. Im just surprised no one thought of this before.

It's such a simple idea, in fact, im considering trying to make one at home :P I'm sure it'll be near impossible for an amateur like myself to make though :(

I've always wondered why the military hadn't gotten on that bandwagon outside 50's comic books... Zeppelins as well. The Hydrogen actually ignites only at high temps and is really pretty stable in normal atmospheric conditions on it's own. The Hindenburg was coated with a light glaze of powdered aluminum that was painted on after mixed into a liquid of other materials with the purpose of deflecting lightning. Irony had it's way, so the unkment in it's entirety happened to be very close in composition to modern rocket fuel. The lightning ignited IT, it burned for several minutes, got hot enough eventually THEN the hydrogen lit. Demonized an otherwise great method of travel as bad as the swastika symbol was demonized after it's use in Deutshland as well. So it goes...
