It is perfectly legal to pitch underhand in MLB. The problem being that there are few that can get enough speed up to do so effectively. Dan Quisenberry used to pitch pretty effectively underhand. Some people called it a submarine pitch.

There is also a very slow, lob pitch called a "ephus" pitch. It was thrown in a very high arc that crossed the strike zone almost vertically.

It was invented and used by Rip Sewell in the '40's.

Newbie alert!!! But what qualifies someone as a spammer?

I understand then concept of dupes but isn't spamming filling the boards with nothing of any use?
