Most of them I like, but some just look half-finished.

I dunno, I've seen a lot worse art being paid for.

This seems more the result of someone teaching themselves instead of getting taught.

Talent usually can take you just so far, pro input always helps and usually takes a talented starter and makes them a good pro too.

Overall though, I think this could be a good beginner.

Someone, somewhere told this woman she could draw. They were terribly wrong.
I'd say in this case, it's a matter of taste. She seems obviously schooled in her technique to me. Unrefined, but on the right road, definately. Not sure what criteria (beyond, again, personal taste) you're basing this on...

I liked most of the finished pieces. Obviously, the images in the "Quick and Dirty" category were just that.
You may not like her style, but that's no reason to bash on her.

She's a helluva lot better than the most of us. She does have skill.

Umm... I think they're really nice, some of her figures even remind me of Egon Schiele. Yes, her figures aren't perfectly proportioned, but they don't have to be (look at schiele.)She has a really good grasp in color as well. There's a difference between not being able to draw, and stylizing. This girl CAN draw and chooses to stylize. Props to her.

Is it just me, or does that themepic look like the Gerber baby with an SVT Cobra grill imprinted on the side of it's head?

I think she does a good job too. I certainly wouldn't claim to do better. Now, does anyone else remember that owl calculator when they were kids???

You know what they say...that it ain't art until you die! Anyway, she has a certain style, more industrial in form but there were somethings that has more of an out there flair that I thought were striking...

Its no good that someone thinks this gal can't draw! I have an undergrad in art, and id say she did quite well..self taught or school taught! But remember everyone, art is subjective no matter what way you look at it!
