Christopher Glenn, a longtime CBS news correspondent who anchored coverage of the space shuttle Challenger explosion and was the voice of the children's program "In the News" in the 1970s and 80s, has died. He was 68.

What shock to wake up to. His voice was so recognizable to me because of those "In the News" segments. An icon from my youth is gone. Damn.
