Who allowed this old man to be shooting at monkeys to begin with? You are just asking for trouble there.

Probably an indication of the local IQ level.

Where I live, not too long ago a policeman tried to shoot a snake out of a tree. He missed and killed a small boy 300 yards away.

It's also not unusual to have some of the local yokels shoot at and hit bald eagles. One died about a week ago.

This week a blind guy shot at and hit an intruder.
Hmm, blind man granted a gun permit.
