Got some leftover drugs -- the kind that someone else might want to use, such as painkillers or stimulants? Wrap them up in used kitty litter or other pet droppings, the government advises. picked by AutumnLotus 2 years ago

Good idea, just don't flush 'em down the toilet. Pharmaceuticals are actually starting to show up in some municipal water supplies, due to flushing unused scripts.

F that S. I made a killing off my unused Adderall when I got switched to a non-stim.

The way I saw it, my shady roommates were just going to dig it out of the trash anyway. This way, I got my money back and I got to reap the benefits of turbo-energized roomies who cleaned obsessively for the next week or so.

I definitely recall one of our governments advising us to simply return any unused/expired drugs to a pharmacist who will properly dispose of them.

Who says I don't WANT them to use my leftover drugs, huh?

I can totally see the drugs being illegally resold by supposedly legitimate institutions. I think I just blatantly stated the obvious.

Sound advice, except not everyone has a pet...then what? Be smart...don't let others take any of your prescription drugs.
