Ford's court-appointed lawyer said Monday the issue may be a question of miscommunication between a man whose family says he is schizophrenic and a woman who was in an unusual state of consciousness.
One might think that a miscommunication was possible.

That's very true, but the police report detailed her altered state of consciousness when they arrived at the scene, and that may be enough to do him in..in terms of her non-consent at least. Interesting to see what does happen.
