eljay and I were living on an Army base in VA before moving out here to CA. I was constantly amazed how many rules were broken by Army soldiers. I was waiting in the parking lot once when a truck pulled up to a no parking zone and a uniformed soldier got out and left his personal vehicle right in front of the actual sign and went into the bank, not the ATM, inside. If you are in the service, driving a service owned vehicle, your Commanding Officer can MAKE you pay your tickets.

Yup, and they should because it reflects badly on the rest of us when police officers have to resort to this to enforce the law.
