Damn! I've only seen one of these (Gremlins) - I feel I need to do something about that.

More than anything else I was intrigued to know how someone could be mutated by a car crash though. That sounds like a pretty bad crash.

K, here's the short version.

. He's being escorted to Maximum Security Prison on a snowy night.
. A shipment of Radioactive Sludge is being shipped on the same road on the same snowy night.
. Both vehicles collide (and by collide I mean a horrible, HORRIBLE slo-mo sequence that ends with the vehicle connecting and making a *ding* sound. Yes, a *ding* sound, not like grocery cart in your door *ding*, but like popcorn in the microwave is done *ding*)
. A car accident is apparently bad enough to rip an armored car apart, so 'Jack" is thrown into the sludge where he mutates with the snow.
. Horribly thought out plot and even worse (non-graphic for some reason) murder sequences abound.

This is as good a reason as any why people with power in Hollywood shouldn't take cocaine.
