To continue with my "eye for an eye" belief...I think someone should ritually circumcise him with a pair of scissors.


Since females are "circumcised" so they won't feel pleasure during sex, the circumcision of this @$$ should keep him from every enjoying sex.

I won't take it upon myself to do so, but the headline really should be changed to "mutilated".

By no strech of the definition can the word "circumcision" be used. Yes, that is a common description for it, there are others as well.

Circumcision is used to soften the atrocity of such an abuse. It is a horrible thing. The term circumcision implies that it is a minor thing, with possible benefits.

It is the same as saying that the Jews were "detained" during WWII

The man who did this and the people involved should have their penises chopped off to start with.

Here's another article on it from CNN, , where they say up to 130,000,000 women worldwide have been mutilated like this as of 2001. Also that 73% to 90% of the women from Ethiopia go through this.

Is it normally done by physicians or by twisted fathers on the kitchen table with a pair of scissors?

A big debate can lash here, but it's circumcision. It's a horrible process that shouldn't happen to either sex's genitals...ESPECIALLY at an age where they will remember.

Nothing to debate whatsoever. It is an attrocious, barbaric, evil act.

Circumcision is the removal of excess foreskin around the penis which is not needed.

Removal of the clitoris is not circumcison. It is closer to a penile-abidectomy than anything else.

The use of circumcision is simply to make the whole thing more palatable. It is still mutilation. Circumcision is far far far different.

So it's okay to do it when they are too young to remember the action? Who cares if they "remember" the ripping out of body parts or not? The mutilation itself is what's bad. Even if they don't remember it happening, it will still effect them just as bad.

You are saying that true male circumcision is bad.
Okay, on that I won't disagree. It is done mostly for cosmetic and culture reasons (yes there are other reasons, but that is the major reason)

My argument is simply that cutting a girl's clitoris off is not the same as removal of foreskin.

That is the only thing I thought needed debating.

I can't even follow through on the story on this, just the title/comments & my stomach is turning. :(
