Black History Month yes...but most of the other ones I was lost or laughing at. My favorite was "return the shopping carts to the store!" month. The grocery store where I used to live( A LOOOOONNNNGGGG time ago) had return places for the carts, and when you returned your cart you got a quarter. Needless to say I always returned mine. Of course, there was a charge in the store of 25 cents for use of a cart. Problem was, all these little kids --where are your parents!--would ask you if they could return the cart for you. I don't think so.

Thanks for the welcome. I did not realize that linking to an original post was considered as 'spam'. This was information that I gathered from a radio station, email and a calendar, to which none I could point a link to. I must be oblivious, is that I thought plime was for linking to sites that may be of interest to plime users. Judging by a comment from another member, they found my article interesting and useful. Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought that this is what it is all about??

Hi Jdsalr - just to clarify this for you, we have a rule about not linking to your own content. It's not a rule that we waive based on interest.

But please don't let that put you off posting to other content you've found interesting. Or indeed posting your blog for us in the thread Suckersklub linked to.

We're not like other aggregate sites here - we are an actual community, and we have ways of doing things.
