200.00 is pretty cheap for a registered Pinto.

Alot of killer buyers will buy a horse cheap and get more money at auctions to sending it to slaughter. Even pets at home are not safe from being slaughtered.

This year, thousands of horses will be sold without disclosure to buyers representing foreign-owned slaughterhouses. These unscrupulous "killer buyers" go to auctions and respond to "for sale" ads only to resell our horses for "gourmet" meat in France, Japan, Italy and Belgium.

I wouldn't sell mine for that cheap.

I'll bet anything that wasn't a mistake. It was some idiot being what he/she thought was funny. That was just too much of a coincidence. I used to work for a newspaper and the writers would put in mock headlines just for filler until the stories were finalized. One time they forgot to change it. I believe a recipe for Chicken Fried Children ended up in print. Needless to say, they got a lot of phonecalls on that one.

Surprise b***h, Unexpected Horse!

I've had horse before. Its actually pretty good. I was in South America. Maybe its just me, but I really don't see what the big deal is. We eat cows, pigs, chickens, and countless other animals. Unless, your a vegetarian, which in that case to each his own.

You people don't eat horse? Seems close enough to all the other livestock. It actually took me awhile to realize why she and the others would be so upset. I'm out of the loop; I'm a vegetarian.
