I'm honest and in the past have traced and returned wallets but, wow, would you go to these lengths to return something? picked by topofall 2 years ago

I do wonder in that circumstance which would appeal to me more - the quest and detective work or the lure of a free camera.

I have to confess to the same thing... I have to applaud these people for going to those lengths to return the camera to its owner.

...the detective quest fell to Ascher, a 26-year-old law student at New York University. He was on winter break and eager to put off writing a paper about climate change treaties.
I dunno about you, but I would definitely have gone to all that trouble to keep from writing a paper.

In all honesty, I would have spent a good deal of time trying to "figure out" who was in the pictures, but I do not think I would have been able to return it.

I think the detective work would have been enough reward for me, even better than the gratitude from the owners.

(And I have a Canon digital camera already...)

I lost my camera somewhere in DC.

I hope someone like this finds it and tracks me down...that would be kinda awesome.
