It was surprisingly better than I expected. His ability to do that screaming thing and make it sound like two notes was pretty cool. Never really paid that much attention.

Lots of screaming, some decent singing. I am always amazed at how they don't lose their voices completely with all the yelling going on. I have a hard time making it through a 3-hour rehearsal without at least partially losing tone.

I've never been a fan of Van Halen. However, David Lee Roth's solo album was freaking awesome.

You know, I actually never thought he was a great vocalist. More 'the vocal stylings of ..'

But, that's why he's in a band. Collaboration can make things alllll better.
