I drink alot, in fact thats what I plan to do later this evening. Drinking contests to the death based on the fifth in a series horrible movies, really? At least he doing his part to help keep the gene pool clean.

My maternal grandfather died from alcohol poisoning due to a drinking bet. Mom was only 14, and her mom had died 10 years before.

Not making callous and flippant comments actually lets the moment be a somewhat reverent one instead of the easily ridiculed disaster that it truly is. Only by pointing out the stupidity of this is there any hope to prevent it from happening again. It lets people know that they will not be cried over at their funeral but laughed at and mocked the world around, and who wants that?

Beware binge drinkers you may be the next to die.
