I once dated a girl whose grandmother lived in a remake of a scottish castle, constructed from the remains of an old girl scout building, complete with a masonry facade, hidden trap doors under rugs, and the seclusion of forestry. Anyway, her bedroom's entrance was hidden behind a pull-out bookshelf, opening to a narrow staircase that led to the only second floor area on that side of the building.

It was super cool.
