Teehee... I just imagine her taking absolutely random pics, but everyone around telling her they were great, in order to not discourage her, and to keep her from designing clothes or doing car races.

Surely it's better to tell her that her passion is useless and that her pics suck.

At least the pictures I've seen are great, especially when considering that they were made by a blind person.

But the pics aren't great... and why is she looking through the viewfinder? And why would photography matter to a blind person?

1. The pictures are quite good for someone who cannot see.

2. She's looking through a viewfinder probably to know where to point, meaning that she hears a sound and turns her head towards the objects that emits the sound and therefore she has to "stick the camera to her face" (at least this is how I imagine it).

3. Everyone has some sort of passion towards something. Maybe she wants others to see what she hears or maybe there's another point why photography matters to her. In the end she does what she wants, that's her choice.

This is addressed in the article. It works like this: you have to read the linked news item to obtain information that correlates to the accompanying images.

Also, if I closed my syes and randomly took photo's some would turn out just fine. Especially with a digital camer you can just point and click and if you do that enough a fair few are gonna be okay.
