I think she should go to jail for a long time and while in there, have her fingernails pulled out by pliers or something, to show her how it feels. I can't beleive people like this are actually out there, it's sad. She should have known better, I just don't get it.

...however... if there are so many people looking after this child and it still happened, are any of them suited to make sure it's protected properly? Thus far that doesn't seem to be the case

She says she is unfit, yes, and here it says she is disabled. To what extent is she disabled? She knows she is unfit, yet she still pulled the fingernails out. The whole thing is very sad and it makes me kind of cringe. I hope the baby is okay and she really shouldn't have anymore babies.
