Child left home alone died in fire
Child left home alone died in fire
A child is dead after a house fire in Twin Falls Tuesday afternoon and the little girl’s parents have been charged in connection with the death.

Who the f**k would ever think it would be alright to leave their 2-year-old and 11-month-old children home alone?! picked by muppet 7 months ago

I'm starting to get sick of all of these negligent child homicides we've been hearing over and over and over again. Firmly and adamantly I profess the need for mandatory mental screenings to see if someone is even capable of rearing a child, instead of waiting for the kid to die before we finally step in. If in the parents mind, it is okay to leave their tiny children alone at home while they run errands, they obviously were not fit for parenthood to begin with. How many times does it have to happen before we step in and stop letting the r-tards make babies, I wonder.

No one would do that because as the saying goes "give them an inch, and they will take a mile"

A good example being the recent tobacco laws. It is fine and dandy when you ban smoke from planes, theaters, and shopping centers, but now many places wont even let you smoke in your own home.

I like the idea of these retards not being allowed to have kids, but where does it stop? What if I wanted to raise my kids vegan, athiest, liberal, or conservative and the government says "hey, those are not the values we want Americans to have." and takes my kids away?

I couldn't hardly cross the street to get my mail with my kids sitting alone in the house. Too much can happen. Now with my son...there is no way I can turn my back for any length of time unless he is confined to his high chair. If he is asleep...that is fine, but the house the could catch fire! So here I stay. I only leave when there is a responsible adult to take my place. It is once again, proof positive that we need a category called BREED NO MORE.

Sorry Gammerus but your examples, while certainly undesirable, could just as easily come about in a system without birth regulation. We're already taking kids away from parents who spank or even yell.

My husband (ex now) left our kids home alone once. They were 3 and 4 at the time, then add my 3yo was autistic (and a runner).

While living at Ft. Bragg, NC, one night we got into yet another fight. When we had really bad arguments, I would just hop in my car, drive to the park 5 mins away, sit there for about 15mins, then drive back home. It was to help me cool off. Well, jackass apparently decided to leave too after I did, and left the kids there...alone...on purpose. He knew I had left, heck, he followed me to my car.

I came home, the back door was wide open...which was a big warning something was up. I walk into the house, baby gate was knocked down...big warning. I look out the front window, his truck is gone. (he parked on the street in front of house, i parked on street in back of house). I start looking through the house, when someone walks in and yells for me. It was a guy telling me where my kids were.

I ran over there in a complete panic. They tell me what happend. After Michael left the kids alone, Heaven (my 4yo at the time) went across the street to the neighbors we knew, and told them. They then came back to the house and got Augi (3yo) to their house to wait for me to return. (I praised my daughter for this, sooo proud of her). Just FYI, the neighbors across the road we knew, was Michaels 1SG over him.

Anyways, I called the MP's, and they did NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They said he would be his word against mine. I was pizzed. Ohh...did I mention, that Michael was sleeping with the chick at the MP station. OMG...I was livid, his 1sg was livid, everyone was livid. Thats ok, the 1sg gave him hell at work.

We seperated soon after that incident.

My point of this rant.... I would have never in a million years ever thought Michael would leave those kids home alone like that. He was the last person who I thought would neglect them in some sort of way. Then he did it. Some parents you just don't know what they are capable of till they do it. Of course, this all happened within a couple weeks of him coming back from Iraq...so not saying that makes it any better... Just you really never know about people.
