FYI: The List of Things That Offend Muslims
FYI: The List of Things That Offend Muslims
Okay, fine. The list of things that offend certain "radical" Muslims. The intent of the list is to illustrate the futility of the multicultural approach to Islam. Sharia law demands submission not only from Muslims, but from non-Muslims as well. picked by 2manyusernames 2 years ago

Of course what is really obscene is the jump to cater to the minority's demands no matter how insane they are.

A few UK Muslims are offended by piggy banks? Fine banks in Britain will ban such things.

A drawing of a chocolate swirl ice cream looks sort of kind of if you were on shrooms way like the arabic word for Allah? Fine, get rid of them.

A moment of silence for the victims of 9/11? No, we will cancel that as not to offend the Muslims.

Cab drivers in non-muslim countries not allowing seeing eye dogs and being allowed to do so. Female surgeons in non-Sharia law countries (probably not a lot of female surgeons back home) not being forced to scrub up because that would bare their arms.

and on and on and on and on.

I was going to say, it might be easier to list the things that WON'T offend. I think you are spot on, Dolly! I will print the list, and publicly burn it.

Agreed. It is crazy. Why are they coming to non-muslim countries and then claiming offense and demanding the culture change for them? Go home, problem solved. Make a nice living on your dirt farm (this is not to be offensive but pointing out that I know why they go to these countries, For the opportunities to make a good living, and that they come from place that have less opportunity ). Islamic countries certainly would not ever consider changing should a European be offended by their way of living. Sorry I don't like Blue do you make these Burkkas in a nice Orange?

I am pretty open minded about other cultures and I don't think it's my place to tell adults how to live. That is the bottom line. People who think their way is the ONLY way to live are obnoxious a$$holes and we should not cater to their demands. It can be an easy fix. Put up a sign at the airports alerting immigrating extremists that they are now entering a country that doesn't follow their religious laws. If you are offended by people that are not of your religion you may wish to return home.

The thing that boggles me is how these zealots don't get ther asses kicked by those Muslams who actually follow their faith as written. If someone came along and tried to distort my religion they way these a*****e do Islam I would be making sure the whole world knew that they were NOT representatives.

Sadly, those who do speak up are very likely to face fatal consequences.

We should add one more to the list.

I see a severe bias on the internet when I fail to find even a few websites about things that offend Christians and Jews.

Well, the ironic thing about Muslims, is that in their own countries, as has already been mentioned, they expect everyone to obey their very strict interpretation of Islamic law.

For example, a college student who didn't wake up on time for prayers, is now facing execution in Saudi Arabia.

However, these same people come to other countries, and expect everyone else to change their own customs.

The one that got to me is "Jew cookies". I can understand if a Muslim decides they don't want to eat this cookie. That is up to them. But if it's a tradition to eat them on Christmas in some countries, and it doesn't even offend Jews, why should Muslims be trying to rename the cookie?

The trouble is that these same people who get easily offended by something that doesn't even involve them, have no trouble going out and seriously offending other religions, and in very blatant ways. For example, by saying that "Hitler didn't kill enough Jews", which is a common statement by these very same people.

That's one of the reasons that I don't upvote anything that has to do with Scientology. Some of the people in the so-called "attack" are blatant hypocrites.

Not it isn't. A religion doesn't charge you for information on their "scriptures" a religion doesn't forbid you to talk to anyone (including family members) who isn't within your sect.

A religion is not a pyramid scheme.

True, but I don't see many suicide bombings from Jews and Christians.

However, Christians have their own piss-poor representatives. You've heard of the Westboro Baptists, right?

Jews have some poor reps, too. You've seen some Woody Allen movies, haven't you?

Actually, a religion can do both of those things and still be deemed a religion. A religion is defined as "an institution to express belief in a supernatural power". Scientology fits that definition just as much as the next.

A religion is not a pyramid scheme.
I am pretty positive that most religions probably started that way.

I do not care what the legal definition is, a religion is not a corporation and it shouldn't operate like one.

And I would like you to name any conventional religion that operated as a pyramid scheme, because to the best of my knowledge there isn't one.
