Under my Nubrella - the hands-free brolley that won't turn inside out in bad weather
Under my Nubrella - the hands-free brolley that won't turn inside out in bad weather
With large plastic bubbles surrounding her head this woman might look like an extra from a 1970s science fiction film. But she's actually wearing a gadget which could become the brolley of choice to brave the British winter - a new wind-proof hands-free umbrella. Makers of the 'Nubrella' claim it allows you to sip your coffee or chat on the phone while walking down the street on a busy day. picked by AutumnLotus 2 years ago

New word for today, children.

Brolley--n. British slang for umbrella.

Love it! I'm waiting for spring so I can add it to my vocabulary.

That is a good Idea that I would really consider. I bicycle a lot, and when it rains I am kind of screwed. I can change my clothes when I get to work easy enough, but arriving to working with my hair sopping wet... Well that wouldn't be a good idea.

Not here. Where I live, it's the n00bs and out of towners who don't have umbrellas and get all wet and windblown.

It's Vancouver! It always rains!
