Saudi woman defies driving ban to mark women's day
A Saudi woman activist marked this year's International Women's Day by defying a ban on women driving in the ultra-conservative kingdom and posted a video of her act on YouTube.

More than 1,100 Saudi men and women signed a petition to King Abdullah urging him to lift the controversial ban on women driving. picked by 2manyusernames 7 months ago

Not allowed to drive a car? I can't even imagine that! I get in the car and go where ever I need to go. I don't need permission and I don't need a man to escort me. Again I am grateful I live where I do.

Remember, the U.S. is allied with this government. And we (the U.S. government) supposedly stand for and supports equal rights. Well...maybe, just not our current administration. Turn a blind eye to get more delicious oil! Yeeee haw!
