Home of the World's Finest Love Doll
Now you too can be like Charlie Sheen and spend $6000 on a love doll, get mad at her, cut off her hand, and dump the body. (NSFW)
RealDolls are anatomically correct, so the sight contains nudity, sort of.
Serioulsy, who get's this lonely? I guess an anotomically correct mate that never says no, never talks, and can never get pregnant or contract a disease has it's perks, but...where is my credit card!?! I'm getting two, ménages a trios here I come.... picked by buddha 2 years ago

There are a number of NSFW "action" sites about these love dolls.

Oh I just read the testimonials and these guys wouldn't have to be lonely, they'd just have to be realistic. They'd have to not be looking for a model/movie star who never speaks, never questions, and can actually think. They don't want a real woman, they want a doll.

I'm content they made this to keep that lot from bothering the real women :)

Good movie.

There's also a documentary (but I'm lazy to google it) about the Real Dolls and their owners... very sad and disturbing stuff.

A much less disturbing take on this is "Lars and the Real Girl" About a socially inept young man who orders one of these dolls and creates a delousion about a relationship. It's actually really good, but the intended use for these things is just a bid too disturbing.

Sorry, I was busy watching the screener of "Lars" with my wife, didn't want to disturb the movie, so I didn't play it.

Ok, I just noticed the specs here:
Elastic - flesh can withstand over 300% elongation
Heat Resistant - can withstand over 300 degrees heat
Water Resistant - solid construction
Stain Resistant - nothing sticks to silicone flesh
Durable - long life silicone rubber
Lifelike - anatomically correct, parts molded from life-casts
Realistic Feel - pliant and soft in all the right places
Odorless and Flavorless
Flexible - wide range of joint movement
Sexy and Pleasurable - provides effective aid to sexual fulfillment
Safe - no risk of disease, nontoxic
Convenient - always ready & available
Relaxing and Comforting - provides stress-free companionship
Affordable - cheaper than most alternatives

Um, why do they need to be heat resistant to 300 degrees?

Friction!

Actually, you'd be amazed at some of the things that get done to these dolls. There is a site made by a man who repairs the dolls, and some of the damage he shows makes me afraid to go outside!!

And there are couples who have and enjoy these dolls. Not recommended for people with latex, plastic, or rubber allergies!

I prefer the doll that walks next to me and holds my hand, and has a sexy chuckle, and takes me to concerts and movies. The rest are just large expensive dildos/fleshtubes.

I don't want/need it, but I still do find them amazing, and fascinating. If I ever met someone with one, I dunno how I'd feel. I think I'd do my best not to judge....

300 degrees of friction? Srsly? My body couldn't take that much heat, and I don't know many who could.

Don't forget the hermaphrodite option. (no balls so you can still have a vagina there too)

It's just a feature of the materials used, not the reason why they were chosen.

I have a background in this sort of thing - I used to be "in rubber" so to speak.

By which I mean I sold the stuff.

Not in the form of people though - with or without realistic openings.

What I'm wondering though is why you were looking so deeply into the specs there, Buddha; and whether the construction meets your no doubt scrupulous criteria.

I prefer the feel of flesh, not rubber ;)

I was watching Lars and the Real Girl and got a little curious, that's why I went "in depth"

In that vein, I'd recommend (if you've not read it already) Chuck Palahniuk's Haunted.

It's a collection of short stories tied within a larger framework. One of them involves (somewhat tenuously, but Chuck generally isn't about the realism) an inadvertantly ordered anatomically correct doll in place of a Resusci Annie torso, the misfortune it endures, and the attempts made by one woman to protect it's dignity.

To anyone who has read Haunted, I know that's not an entirely accurate synopsis, but I didn't want to remove all of Chuck's carefully crafted shock tactics.

Mow, I'm not a person who scares easily (see, I'm still posting here!) but Haunted was an INTENSE book! It had some seriously disturbing stories. Palahniuk is an amazing writer! Sort of the Steven King of ickiness! Awesome stuff, but be warned!!!

Yeah - the one about the hot springs, I think, got to me the most. The swimming pool story is the most obviously shocking one (and comes replete with tales of people passing out at readings) but lacked, well, I want to say subtlety or finesse, but subtlety is not something you can really accuse the rest of the stories in Haunted of.

Have you read much of his other stuff?
